Devops Engineer – Multiple Openings

Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Multiple Openings)
Location: Reston, VA (Telecommuting permitted; must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. on short notice for extended periods)
Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and deployment into production environments.

  • Maintain code health using tools like SonarQube and Nexus IQ.

  • Develop Ansible scripts to automate project deployments on application servers.

  • Implement technical solutions tailored to customer engagement needs.

  • Restructure security and server policies to comply with new government regulations and support B2B business continuity.

Tools and Technologies:

Jenkins, AWS DevOps, VPC, EC2, S3, Chef, Git, Tomcat, Python, Linux, SQL Server, Unix, Ansible, SonarQube, Nexus IQ, Docker.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.

    • Alternative: Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in a related field.

  • One (1) year of experience in the following:

    • Working with AWS, VPC, EC2, S3, Chef, Git, Tomcat, Python, Jenkins, and Linux

    • Or one (1) year experience as a Software Engineer, Cloud DevOps Engineer, or a related occupation
